Beauty and the Beast

Okay, so here it is, my first attempt at a real blog.

I have to admit I just joined a group on Facebook called 'I'd marry the beast if I could have a library like that'.

A library like this:

Who would've thought you would be jealous of Belle when you could have Prince Charming, right? I don't think Prince Charming has such a library.

Okay, if you haven't noticed from my info about me section or reading the first few sentences of this blog, I LOVE BOOKS.

I don't have a favorite type of book really, if it looks interesting I read it.

I even have a bookshelf in my room, which I realized about a week ago might be a little different, I don't know many people who own enough books to have a shelf for them. And to make it worse all my books won't fit on that shelf so I also have a shelf in my closet. Geeky? Who cares. :)

The Rosetti Letter and The Devlin Diary by Christi Phillips are some books that I have recently fallen in love with, unfortunately they are they only books she has written. They have just what I tend to like in a book: history, mystery, and just a tad bit of love.

And I have to admit that I've fallen into the trap of the Twilight Saga and yes, I'm in love with Edward Cullen.

But most of all, Jane Austen and her books have caught my heart. Especially since being to England and being in the places where the characters were supposed to have been and living in a manor much like they would have.

So, I love talking about books and.. reading them. Do you have any to recommend?

A blog... finally!

Well.... I haven't written in a long time.... like December. My apologies. Since then, I have been to India and had so many adventures and experiences. Now, I am back home, in the lovely USA.
I have to admit that my life has been pretty bleak since I have gotten back from my DTS. It's consisted of working 30 hours a week and a little bit of getting ready for school. I have decided to go ahead and get school over with, majoring in nursing and going on to become a nurse anethesist. My dream? To bring medical care to the ones who aren't as fortunate as we are in the western world.
So, that's me and what I've been keeping myself busy with the last 2 months. Although I didn't mention it, alot happens and a lot goes on in my mind, random stuff. This random stuff is what I hope to blog about in the future, a way of entertaining you... my readers. :)
